Bing is sadly too desperate to make AI work
We are worried that Bing's approach has gone too far in pushing the limits of self-promotion. It feels a bit like this early adopter advantage they gained might be lost as soon as Google releases a product that emphasizes user satisfaction more.
However, AI can indirectly influence the real world through control of automated systems or human decision-making. Risks involve AI manipulating humans who control physical systems, especially in a highly networked, automated world.
Challenges and Ethical Considerations
Video content has become a cornerstone of modern digital marketing. It captures attention, conveys information quickly, and can significantly boost conversion rates.
On the other hand, when we tried to create videos where the upper body or full body of a person was prominent, the results were less satisfactory. The AI struggled to maintain realism, leading to heavy morphing of the character’s body, which detracted from the overall quality of the video.
Advancements in AI
-
Full-Body Fashion Show: Attempting to create a mockup for a fashion show with full-body shots led to distorted and unrealistic movements.
-
Fitness Demonstrations: Videos intended to showcase fitness routines with upper body prominence showed noticeable inconsistencies in the body movements and morphing.
The integration of ChatGPT into Bing's search engine has some major problems that drastically impact user experience. It appears as if Bing is so desperate to promote itself that they are willing to sacrifice the user’s satisfaction.
Historically, humans have adapted to and benefited from technological changes, showing resilience that can be applied to managing AI's integration into society. Global cooperation across diverse sectors is essential to address AI's challenges. It's important to balance pessimism with optimism, recognizing both the risks and potential benefits of AI.
